DUI, Leaving The Scene
Nicholas Harkness, 42, Summerwood Dr., Benton, Arkansas was charged with DUI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage on December 29 around 9:17 p.m.
Officer Sean Beck responded to Best Western Motel where the subject had crashed in the parking lot, but drove away prior to the officer’s arrival.
He was reported going northbound on U.S. 79. Officer Beck caught up with the vehicle, which was turning into a residence on U.S. 79. There was damage to the front of the vehicle and antifreeze escaping.
A field sobriety check indicated Harkness was intoxicated.

Driving on Suspended License
Russellene Anderson, 64, Walnut Cir., McKenzie was charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Violation of Financial Responsibility and Expired Registration after a traffic stop on December 28.
Officer Trenton Ruddy made the stop and learned of the suspended status. She was cited into court.

Domestic Assault
Gary A. Hocker, 42, Walnut Cir., McKenzie, was charged with Domestic Assault on December 22.
Officer Trenton Ruddy responded to a Walnut Circle address where a female indicated Hocker assaulted her. Officers located Hocker inside the residence and described him as very agitated and refused to comply with the officers’ orders and was arrested.

Criminal Trespass
Maurice L. Lawrence, 29, Coleman Rd., Memphis, was arrested on December 30 for Criminal Trespass.
Officer Bryan Batchelder responded to Maverick Convenience Store where Lawrence was sitting outside. The General Sessions Court had issued a ban notice to Lawrence concerning trespassing at the store. He was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.
