Katie Chesser went 3-3 with two triples and a home run as the McKenzie Lady Rebel softball team topped visiting Clarksburg 12-0 Tuesday.
Payton Ognibene was 3-3 at the plate and picked up the victory in the circle. She pitched four innings, striking out two and scattering three hits.
Libby Autry doubled for the Lady Rockets. Addison Milam and Chloe Crum each had hits for Clarksburg.
Haylee Beard, Kassidy Brown and Addie Freeman each clubbed doubles for McKenzie. Carli Beeler had two hits for the Lady Rebels. On the day, McKenzie pounded 13 hits.
The Lady Rebels hosted Milan Monday and will travel to Houston County on Tuesday, March 28.
Clarksburg traveled to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tuesday and will journey to Frank Hughes Thursday.
