Carroll County General Sessions Court Report

The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on January 25.

Defendants bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court include:

Christopher James Birdwell, Renfroe Road, Huntingdon, bound over to the Grand Jury on charges of Prohibited Weapon-Explosives; Arson-Attempt; Burglary; Vandalism; Resisting Arrest; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Public Intoxication.

Paul Ross Little, Hamilton Street, Atwood, bound over on charge of Possession of Handgun While Under the Influence; DUI-First Offense; Implied Consent Violation; Speeding; Failure to Change Address on Driver’s License.

William S. Trevathan, Shady Lane, Huntingdon, bound over on charge of Sexual Offender Registration Violation; Community Supervision Violation.

The following cases resulted in a guilty finding or plea.

Steven Baker, Clearview Avenue, Trezevant, guilty, Driving While Revoked, 11/29 jail-suspended to eight days, supervised probation; dismissed, Failure to Appear.

Hunter Lee Birdwell, Vale-McKenzie Road, Bruceton, guilty, Theft, 11/29 jail- suspended except 15 days; $300 restitution to victim; supervised probation for six months.

Chriss Allen Brown, Highland Street, Bruceton, guilty, Probation Violation-two counts, supervised probation six months, probation extended six months.

Dora Lee Eward, Paris Street, Huntingdon, guilty, Failure to Appear, 11/29 jail – suspended, 11/29 probation or until court costs are paid; dismissed, Simple Possession; dismissed, Casual Exchange.

Shauna Foster, 79 Lane, Atwood, guilty, Driving While License Revoked, 180 days jail suspended except two days, supervised probation.

Jonathan P. Hill, Highway 70, Cedar Grove, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail – credit for time served.

Patrick J. Holbrook, Gann Road, Milan, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $750 fine, 11/29 jail-suspended to 15 days, supervised probation for balance of sentence.

Ronald R. Reeves, Arlington Avenue, Jackson, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange; $750 fine, 11/29 jail-suspended except 14 days, supervised probation; dismissed, Failure to Appear.

Tosha M. Stubblefield, Bobbitt Road, Bruceton, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $750 fine, 11/29 jail-suspended except 21 days; dismissed, Drug Paraphernalia.

Montavous Williamson, Campbell Street, Jackson, guilty, Theft, 11/29 sentence suspended to time already served; no contact with Walmart, $357.56 restitution, supervised probation until fines and costs are paid then unsupervised probation; dismissed, Failure to Appear.

The following cases were dismissed.

Craig Scott Filmore, Forge Hill Road Pennsylvania, dismissed, Fugitive From Justice, Driving While Suspended, Driving Unregistered Vehicle, Failure to Exercise Due Control – all dismissed.

Maurice Lawrence, homeless, McKenzie, dismissed, Criminal Trespass.

Kevin James Luther, Bruceton, dismissed, Public Intoxication.

Kaelin Dwayne Willis, Ash Street, Bruceton, dismissed, Failure to Appear; dismissed, Theft.
