HUNTINGDON (August 17-18) The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court by Judge Larry Logan on August 17 and 18.
  Cases bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court include:
Charles J. Baker, Griggs Chapel Road, Cedar Grove, bound over on charge of Resist Stop, Arrest, Search.
   The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding.
Jason Batton, Elm Street, McKenzie, guilty, Resist Stop, Arrest, or Search, Driving While Revoked Due to Convention of DUI, sentenced to six months jail on Resist charges and 11/29 on Driving on Revoked charge, 23 months and 28 days of unsupervised probation.
Dora Lee Ewald, Paris Street, Huntingdon, guilty, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, 11/29 jail sentence suspended to 10 days, supervised probation for 11/19; dismissed charge of Meth-Possession or Casual Exchange.
Cody Hart, Harrison Street, Paris, guilty, DUI-first offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, 11/27 supervised probation; dismissed, Possession of Handgun While Under the Influence; dismissed, Violation of Implied Consent.
Roger J. Hollowell, Highway 77, Huntingdon, guilty, DUI-First Offense, $350 fine, 1 year jail, except 30 days, 10/29 supervised probation, no driving for one year; dismissed charge of Implied Consent and Open Container.
Miguel Angel Mejias, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, guilty, Failure to Appear, 11/29 probation, not to possess animals during probation; dismissed, Violent Offender Own/Possess Vicious Dog; dismissed, Dogs Running at Large.
Coty Allen Taylor, Harris Lane, Camden, guilty, DUI-First Offense, $350 fine, one year jail, suspended except 10 days; dismissed, Simple Possession; dismissed, Violation Light Law-vehicle; dismissed, Violation of Financial Responsibility.
Jessica Marie Johnson, Bringle Street, Milan, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 11/29 supervised probation, $32.44 restitution to retailer, no contact with retailer.
Jaylean McClerkin, Mount Pelia Road, Martin, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, 10 days jail, 11/19 supervised probation; dismissed, Schedule VI Drugs-Manufacture, Deliver, Sell, or Possession; dismissed, Leaving Scene of Accident.
Trevez Camden Phillips, Main Street, Greenfield, guilty, Probation Violation, 90 days jail, probation extended 10 months.
Kristy L. Wingham, Woodlawn Street, Milan, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 90 days in jail, 8/29 supervised probation, $564.18 restitution to retailer; dismissed, burglary.

Hunter Ray Hughey, Vinson Lane, McKenzie,  Failure to Appear; dismissed, Theft.
Chelsea Meggs, Purdy Road, Huntingdon, dismissed, Contributing to a Minor.
Wanda Carol Rainey, Stonewall Street, McKenzie, dismissed, Meth-Possession or Casual Exchange; dismissed, Fugitive from Justice.
Nicholas Joel Rowland, State Route 77, Atwood, dismissed, Fugitive from Justice.
Adrine Lesune McClerkin, Highway 77, Atwood, dismissed, Theft of Merchandise.
The following case was adjudicated through pre-trial diversion.
Jaylean McClerkin, Mount Pelia Road, Martin, pre-trial diversion, Failure to Appear, 10 days jail, 11/19 unsupervised probation.
