The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on December 28.

Cases bound over to the Carroll County Grand Jury of the Circuit Court include: Tonyka T. Clark, Bailey St., Lexington, bound over on charges of Probation Violation and Failure to Appear.

Austyn K. Haynes, Park Ln., McKenzie, bound over on Aggravated Robbery.

Marty A. Lyles, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, bound over on charges of Schedule IV and VI Drugs – Manufacturing, Deliver, Sell or Possess; Simple Possession/Casual Exchange; Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

Orlando Olive, Palace St., Martin, bound over on charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Possession of a Weapon with Intent to go Armed.

The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding.

Dallas Bates, Humphrey Rd., Huntingdon, guilty, Allowing Dog to Run at Large, 30 days jail sentence suspended, unsupervised probation, dogs are forfeited to Carroll County Animal Control. 

Amy Lynn Guentz, Bethel Court, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 15 days jail, probation extended four months.

Amy R. Hampton, Cotton Ln., Huntingdon, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 11/29 jail suspended except 45 days; Restitution to retail store of $35.37, no contact with victim store.

Larry Allen Lee, Old Stage Rd., Sugar Tree, guilty, DUI-First Offense, $350 fine, 11/29 jail suspended except 13 days, supervised probation, not to drive for one year; dismissed, Driving on Revoked.

Marty A. Lyles, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, Probation Violation, jail 5 months and 15 days. 

Charles Russell Midkiff, State Route 114, Bruceton, guilty, Failure to Appear, 10 days jail, probation.

Travis B. Nunn, Hwy. 79 Ln., Atwood, guilty, DUI-First Offense, $350 fine, 11/29 jail suspended except 48 hours, not to drive for one year, DUI school; dismissed, Driving While Suspended.

Michael O’Daniel, Hidden Acres Rd., Paris, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $750 fine, 11/29 jail suspended except 10 days, supervised probation; dismissed, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; dismissed, Driving While Revoked.

Larry Parsley, Devault Ln., Hollow Rock, guilty, Probation Violation, 15 days jail, probation extended to 5 months.

Chaz Richmeier, Paris Pike, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail, probation revoked.

Matthew Rigney, Washington Avenue, Camden, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 11/29 jail suspended, $90 restitution, no contact with Walmart for one year; dismissed, Violation of Order of Protection.

Kristin Paigae Smith, Old Bridge Rd., Cookeville, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, 11/29 jail suspended to time served, restitution to Walmart for $636.55; dismissed, Burglary.

Christopher Terry, East Main Cove, Greenfield, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail, credit for time served, and can receive day for day credit upon successful completion of rehab.

Gary Webb, Hwy. 70, Jackson, guilty, Leaving Scene of Accident-Property Damage, six months jail suspended except 14 days; dismissed, Driver Failure to Exercise Due Care.

James Isaac Winsett, Clay Farm Rd., Atwood, guilty, Cruelty to Animals, 11/29 jail suspended except 10 days, supervised probation, banned from having animals for a period of five years.

The following cases were adjudicated through pre-trial diversion.

Wyatt Anderson Campbell, North First St., Milan, pre-trial diversion, Underage Possession of Beer and Transporting Beer; supervised probation; dismissed, Prohibited Weapon, weapon forfeited.

Hutson Kyle Turner, Paw Paw Ln., McKenzie, pre-trial diversion, Driving While Revoked, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $250 fine, 11/29 jail suspended, supervised probation; dismissed, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of Financial Responsibility; Violation Muffler Law.

The following cases were dismissed.

Dwight Benjamin Bryant, South Highland, Paris; dismissed, Violation of Order of Protection/Restraining Order.

Terrance Antonio Butler, Jr., Nash Drive, Memphis, dismissed, Criminal Trespass.

Robert Sam Colella, Camden, dismissed, Driving While Suspended.

James Kenneth Gorey, Jr., Berkley Avenue, Claremont, North Carolina, dismissed, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Roger Hollowell, Hwy. 77, Huntingdon, dismissed, Driving While Revoked.

Lois Ann Nesbitt, Ellis Rd., Milan, dismissed, Aggravated Criminal Trespass.

Forest Reaves, Woods Ln., McKenzie, dismissed, Tampering with Evidence; Meth-Possession or Casual Exchange.
