Zachary James Knuutila, 28, of Bruceton, passed away Sunday, September 19 at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 23 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Gary Douglas and Michael Runion officiating. Burial followed at Jamison Cemetery.
Mr. Knuutila was born September 23, 1992, in McKenzie. He was a transportation broker. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Jack and Alice Knuutila, and maternal grandfather; Steve Persico.
He is survived by his fiancée; Laci Dean, of Hermitage, his father; James Stacey Knuutila (Breya) of Bruceton, his mother; Tamara Knuutila of Ridgely, maternal grandmother; Susan Torres of S.C., one sister; Lacie Smith of Ridgely, three brothers; Cody James Knuutila (Katy) of Martin, Kevin Isaiah House of Bruceton, and Seth Alexander House (Olivia) of Martin. He also leaves a niece; Rylee James Knuutila.
Pallbearers who served were; Gilbert Zarate, Preston Carlton, Logan Boyd, Gary Gilliam, Tyler Bush, and Roger Mathews II.
