Tommy Campbell

1938-2019

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” George Campbell, 80, of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Larry DePriest officiating the service.

Mr. Campbell was born August 18, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Edward Lee Campbell and Fannie Mae (Gwin) Campbell. He retired as an electrician from Chem-Ours and served in the Marine Corp. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Campbell, two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Campbell Platt of Bruceton, Tracy Campbell Wortham (John David), Pam Campbell Wortham (Scott Douglas), one son, David Campbell (Deborah Little) all of Huntingdon, five sisters, JoAnn Jordan of Huntingdon, Mary Ruark of Mississippi, Laverne Mosley of Waverly, Charlene Coleman of New Johnsonville, Pamela Gail Cooper of Waverly, three brothers, Gary Campbell, Walter Campbell, both of Waverly, Edward Campbell of Camden. He also leaves nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
