Junior representative Sydney Vinson, daughter of Michael and Telena Vinson, was crowned as Huntingdon High School’s homecoming basketball queen in ceremonies at the half of the boy’s game with Milan Feb. 8. She was crowned by Natalie Taylor, AB Club president, and presented flowers by AB Vice President Matti-Claire Roberts. High school cheerleaders presented flowers to the homecoming court.
Sydney was escorted by Braxton Montes De Oca, son of Jana Bybee.
Sydney is class of 2023 class treasurer, is president of Math Club, treasurer of Beta Club, and a member of the Science, FFA and AB Clubs.
She has served as a manager for several of the sport teams. She’s been the manager for girl’s basketball and football for three years each, softball and baseball for two years each and boy’s basketball for one year.
