Watershed Authority grants boat dock request

At the Jan. 26 meeting of the Carroll County Watershed Authority, a boat dock request was granted for Barsto Rental, located at Natures Trail, Edgewater Estates, Lot 16, further identified as Carroll County Tax Map 107, Parcel 019.15. Lake manager David Rush advised that the request seems to meet regulations.

The 2020 audit report was approved. According to the accounting firm  of Alexander Thompson Arnold, the fiscal year 2020 audit has no current year or prior year audit findings. The net change in the fund balance was a negative $386,962. The net position decrease during the current year is primarily due to depreciation since no large assets were added during the year, and the debt being paid down.

The next meeting date is Feb. 23.
