Earlene Kee
1937-2022


Earlene Kee, 85, of Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, November 16, at AHC of McKenzie, TN. Funeral services were held Friday, November 18, in the
Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home, with Cliff Kelley officiated. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. She was married for 63years to Earl Ray Kee, who survives of Huntingdon,
TN. Mrs. Kee was born September 04, 1937, in Lexington, TN, to the late Felix (Earl) Jones and to the late Willie Martin Jones. Along with her husband, she is survived by one daughter Tara Kee Spain of Huntingdon, TN; one son, Tony (Debbie) Kee of The Villages, FL; one
sister, Carol Jane Evans of Lexington, TN; two grandchildren Heath Spain
and Ashley (Hunter) Hastings; and two great grandchild, Harper Hastings, and Porter Hastings. She is preceded in death by one grandson, Chad Kee; one son-in-law, David Spain; one sister Barbara Jones; and two brothers, Harold Jones, and Joe Jones.

Carolyn Jean Kirksey

1952 – 2022

 Carolyn Jean Kirksey, 70, of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 19, at Lifecare Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 22, at in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Clint Ezell officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden Mrs. Kirksey was born July 21, 1952, in Camden, to the late J. P. and Becky (Beecham) Forrest. She worked as a CNA at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Kirksey, three sisters, Geneva “Tootsie” Brinkley, Mary Jane Williams, Edith Pearson, three brothers, Frank Forrest, Howard T. Forrest, and Jackie Forrest. She is survived by two sons, Chris Kirksey (Mary) and Wesley Campbell, both of Huntingdon, two sisters, Pearl Delaney of Camden, Sue Cary (Grady) of Yuma, one brother, Larry Forrest (Sue) of Pillowville. She also leaves three grandchildren, Sarah Kirksey of McKenzie, David Kirksey and Lucas Bratton, both. Pallbearers who served were Steve Simpson, Jamie Towater, Marty Towater, David Kirksey, Brent Towns, and Mike Delaney of Huntingdon.

Carolda Jean Armstrong

1948 – 2022

Mrs. Carolda Jean Armstrong, 74, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, November 22, at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 25, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with George Avery officiating. Burial followed in Christian Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Armstrong was born February 26, 1948, in Dresden, to the late Luther Greer and Betty (Culver) Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Armstrong, four brothers, Edward Greer, Mickey Greer, Luther Dale Greer, Luther Edward Greer Jr. and a sister, Debbie Helton. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Gateley (Brian) of Cedar Grove, Jennifer Armstrong of Huntingdon, a son, Lonnie Armstrong Jr. of Huntingdon, four sisters, Ann Bennett, Faye Tyria both of Allegan, Michigan, Jo Parham (Mike) of Huntingdon, Sue Caswell (Delbert) of Holland, Michigan, three brothers, Wayne Greer (Gloria) of Otsego, Michigan, Mike Greer (Connie) of Paris, Donald Greer of Cedar Grove and a grandson, Kent Dillon. Pallbearers who served were Lonnie Armstrong, Jr., Wayne Greer, Donnie Greer, Zachary Shoemaker, Rodney Wilson, and Mike Greer.

Betty S. Cary
1944- 2022


Betty Sue Cary, 78 of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 19, at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 22, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Tim Parish officiating. Burial followed in Jamison Cemetery.
Mrs. Cary was born January 24, 1944 in Westport, to the late Houston and Maude (Smith) Eubank. She was a seamstress for Bill Sills Sportswear, a cosmetologist, and a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing cards. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Smith, second husband, Joe Bridges, third husband, Al Cary, a sister, Linda Allen, two brothers, Sammy Eubank, and Ronnie Boyd. She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Eubanks (Ricky) of Cedar Grove, Lisa Cobb (Brent), Penny Smith (Wade), both of Huntingdon, three sons, Barry Smith (Shonna) of Trenton, Thomas “Spud” Luther (Robin) of Clarksburg, Jeffery Bridges of Yosemite National Park, California, and one brother, Landon Eubank of McKenzie. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Joan Dean
1948 – 2022 

Reba Joan Dean, 74, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday, November 18, at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at Clarksburg Cemetery with Phillip Halter officiating. Mrs. Dean was born April 16, 1948 in Clarksburg, to the late Leon and Mary Lucille (Cary) Lowe. She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Bradley Wayne Dean, three brothers, Larry Lowe, Jerry Lowe, and Jimmy Lowe. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Wayne Dean, one son, Dusty Dean (Lisa) of Portland, Oregon, and one sister, Janice Crocker of Huntingdon. She also leaves two grandchildren, Caden Edward Dean, Dolly Joan Dean and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers who served were Tony Crocker, Cody Crocker, Caleb Crocker, Jeff Lowe, Jace Lowe, Hunter Hamilton, Alex Hamilton, and David Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Hampton, Charles Johnson, and George Holder.

Donald Ray White
1943 – 2022

Donald Ray White, 79, of Hiram, Georgia formerly of Huntingdon, passed away Monday November 14, 2022 at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Georgia. Funeral services were held November 20, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Alex Hilliard and Mike Wheeler officiating. Burial followed in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.
Mr. White was born October 18, 1943 in Huntingdon, to the late John Herman and Nora Neveda (Wooters) White. Donald grew up on a farm in Carroll County and graduated from Huntingdon High School. After high school he moved to Nashville and worked at H. G. Hill Grocery Store. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 20 years and retired in 1984. Donald enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed all the time spent with his family. He was an avid NFL fan, loved the Titans, Colts, and Broncos. He was a Big Orange Fan. He also enjoyed every old western that came on TV.  He was a member of Palmer Shelter United Methodist Church. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Darin White, a brother, Earl White, a sister, Mildred Joyce. He is survived by one sister, Geraldine White Wheeler (Joseph) of Dallas, Georgia, one brother, Carl H. White (Betty) of Huntingdon, an aunt, Sue White of Huntingdon, and his special friend, Delano Miller. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed by all.
