Two seriously injured in two vehicle wreck

Two people were injured in a two vehicle Aug. 31 accident on Highway 70A near McLemoresville around 8 a.m.

Anne Avery, 61, of Milan, and Robert Stacy Reaves, 54, of Atwood, suffered serious injuries in the mishap.

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Reaves, driving a 1998 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound while Avery, driving a 2013 Nissan Murano, was eastbound when a head-on collision occurred between the two vehicles.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.
