Sandra May Arnold

1935-2019

Sandra May Arnold, age 83 passed away Saturday, August 3 at Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital. Sandra was born December 14, 1935 in Crockett Co. to the late Joe Henry Barnes and Sallie May Bailey Barnes. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Arnold.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church and a retired owner/manager of Gerald’s Big Star.

She is survived by 2 Daughters: Amanda Simonton of Jackson; and Regina Whitford of Bruceton. 1 Son: Clay Arnold of Bruceton. 4 Sisters: Esther Ellis of Alamo; Theresa Hargrove of Jackson; Lawanda Vaughn of Dyersburg; Harriett Higgs of Martin. 6 Grandchildren: Rachael, Lauren, Gerald, Chelsey, Hannah, and Ryan. 9 Great- Grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Monday, August 5 at 2 P.M. at Bruceton First Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Franks, visitation was held at Bruceton Funeral Home Monday. August 5 at 11 A.M. till 2 P.M. Interment followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Pallbearers: Jason Davidson, Ryan McMackin, Gerald Luther, Jeff Mebane, Allen Waldon, and Jeff Harris.
