Notice is hereby given that on the 23rd day of September, 2024 letters testamentary (or of administration as the case may be) in respect of the estate of Ray Smith, who died September 7, 2024, were issued to the undersigned by the Clerk and Master of Carroll County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Cedar Grove Utility District will be conducting a PUBLIC MEETING on October 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM, local time, at 3100 TN-220, Lavinia, TN 38348 to provide information about the Cedar Grove Utility District’s application for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan and/or Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Funding with Principal Forgiveness in the amount of $4,407,200 for a Water Line Replacement and the resulting impact on monthly water bills.

It is noted that 50% of that amount will be in the form of principal forgiveness and will not have to be repaid.
