Milbern Noles

Milbern Gene Noles, 74, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on
Tuesday, Nov. 24. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery with Trent Sellers officiating.
Mr. Noles was born on August 18, 1946 in Huntingdon, to the late William Richardson Noles and Oberlyn (Ellis) Noles. He was the owner of Noles Farm Equipment Service since 1975, a retired tractor mechanic teacher at the Carroll County Technology Center, and a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.D. Noles and his sister, Lou Helen Baker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marjorie Sue (Moody) Noles of Huntingdon; two sons, Jeff (Michele) Noles and Nick (Kelli) Noles, both of Huntingdon; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Ben) Yount of Huntingdon, and Meagan (Dan) Hill of Bartlett; two great-grandsons, Ben Noles and Michael Yount; two brothers, Willie Clyde (Phyllis) Noles of San Antonio, Texas and J.W. (Ann) Noles of Huntingdon.
Pallbearers who served were, Robert Churchwell, Mike Walker, David Loyd, Bob Johnson, Bruce Johnson, and Ricky Umstead.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908).
