Mexican Soup

What could be better than a bowl of soup on a cold winter day? This soup sounds like a good one to try. It has hominy in it which is not a normal veggie to put in soup.Something different is always worth a try for a new taste.

Ingredients                                                    
1 can tomatoes with green chiles

1 lb. ground beef                                                     
1 can ranch-style beans

1/2 cup chopped onion                                          
1 can black beans

1 can yellow hominy                                              
1 (16-ounce) jar mild salsa

1 can white corn

1 small can tomato juice

Directions

Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large saucepan, stirring until crumbly; drain. Add the white corn, undrained yellow hominy, tomato juice, undrained tomatoes with green chiles, undrained ranch-style beans, undrained black beans and salsa. Mix well. Bring to a boil over medium -low heat. Cook until heated. Serves 12.
