The Town of Huntingdon is soliciting bids from qualified state licensed contractors for asphalt resurfacing for a Street Resurfacing Project in the Town of Huntingdon, Tennessee. Specifications and bid documents are available at City Hall, 19810 Main Street East, Huntingdon, Tennessee 38344. Please contact Ronnie Breeden, Public Works Superintendent, 731-415-9000, to arrange a visit to project site and for verification of measurements.

All bids must be signed, sealed, plainly marked with the phrase "STREET SURFACING PROJECT", and delivered to the town recorder's office not later than 2:00 P.M. (CDT), Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Room of the Huntingdon City Hall. The outside of the bid envelope shall indicate contractor's name, license information and number, expiration date thereof. The Huntingdon Housing Authority is developing its Agency Plan for 2025 in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. It will be available at the Housing Authority’s Office located at 433 Hillcourt Circle, Huntingdon, TN. The Authority’s hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM -12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Friday. In addition, a public hearing to discuss the Agency Plan will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Authority’s office.
