Mariam McCorkle Lancaster

    Mariam McCorkle Lancaster, age 96, passed away Monday, Oct. 7 at Camden Health Care. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct 9 at noon at  Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with Brother Steve Whitworth.

    Mrs. Lancaster was born on July 7, 1923 in Charleston, S.C. to the late William Perry McCorkle and Ida A. Jachens. She was a homemaker and a member of Bruceton First United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas Kirk Lancaster and two sons Robert Kirk Lancaster and Thomas William Lancaster.

     She is survived by one daughter in law: Kay Corlew Lancaster; one brother: Billy McCorkle of Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren: Eric Lancaster of Las Vegas, NV; Mark Lancaster of Hendersonville; and Amy Lancaster Bradley of Gallatin. Six great grandchildren: Joseph and Lauren Lancaster, Naomi Milner, Thomas, Tucker, and Kate Bradley.
