Marene Hollingsworth

Lessie Marene Hollingsworth, 90 of Cedar Grove, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Darrell Ridgely officiating. Burial followed in New Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born August 16, 1930 in Trezevant, to the late Dewey Lee and Clara (Robinson) Blankenship. She was retired from Basler Electric Company as a factory worker, a member of Huntingdon First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was also preceded in death two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by one son, Roger (Connie) Birdwell of Cedar Grove; one daughter, Clara Mae (Don) Nanney of Collierville. She also leaves five grandchildren, Jason Whitt, Roger Birdwell, Jr., Tennille Baker, Stephanie Spain, Rhonda Adams; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers who will serve are Roger Birdwell, Roger Birdwell, Jr., Chase Birdwell, and Jason Whitt.
