Lee Warren Sanders, 90, of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, at Life Care Center of Bruceton. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Burial followed at Republican Grove Cemetery with Chase Sanders and Bobby Sanders officiating.
Mr. Sanders was born June 19, 1930 to the late Hobert and Rosa Sanders. He was a retired Engineer for the State of Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives; Jean Palmer Sanders, Madoline Dill Sanders, and Carrie Brewer Sanders; his son, Terry Sanders; and his brothers, Dallas Sanders, Charles Sanders and Billy Sanders.
He is survived by one daughter, Andrea Diane Nienhuis of Topeka, Kansas; two sons, Phillip (Michelle) Sanders and Steve (Judy) Dill both of Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Chase (Katie) Sanders of
Huntingdon, Jess (Katie) Dill of Huntingdon, Lora Jean Reynolds of Dewey, Oklahoma; and Andrea (Bryan) Buckridge of Manhattan, Kansas; one brother, Bobby Sanders; one sister, Peggy Kelley; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chase Sanders, Jess Dill, Jamey Sanders, Tim Higdon, Jimmy Halford, Richie Webb, Rob McCree, and Jeff Wood.
