Larry Richard Baker, age 81, of Huntingdon, passed away on Saturday August 22, at his residence.
Funeral services for were held Monday, August 24, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home of Huntingdon with John D. Small officiating. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born on Feb. 5, 1939, in Carroll County, to the late James L. Baker and Minnie Cassinino Baker. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran and an Engineer at ITT. On Aug. 27, 1954, he was baptized by B.C. Larkin at Christian Chapel Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lois and Loyd Baker, and a nephew, Ricky Baker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Baker; a niece, Anita (Patrick) Smith, of Huntingdon; two nephews, Randy (Jon) Baker, of Yuma, and Chris Baker, of Clarksburg.
Serving as pallbearers were Chris and Randy Baker, Patrick Smith, William Umstead, Kevin Hill and Chris Hatch. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Kiphen and Carl White.
