Larry Hayes

1950-2019

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Thomas Hayes, 69, were conducted at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Wildersville Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery.  Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements.  

Mr. Hayes passed away early Thursday in Jackson.  He was born March 21, 1950 in Lexington to the late Oscar Hayes and Lessie Maness Hayes Jowers.  He was retired from Milan Army Arsenal and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved his family dearly, was a big hunter, and enjoyed farming.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe Hayes and Danny Hayes.  Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Tami Derryberry Hayes; his son, Danny Edward Hayes; his brother, Alex Jowers (Karen); two sisters, Ruby Wildridge (Gordon) and Mary Jowers; and one granddaughter, Kristin Hayes.
