Kenneth Herman Ward, 82, of Adamsville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Parker’s Crossroads on Friday, April 4. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kenneth was born November 4, 1942, in Waterloo, Wis. to the late Howard Ward and Lucille Keisow. He was a very proud Marine and served our country for four years, from March 2, 1964 to March 1, 1968, with one year served in Vietnam from May 1965 to May 1966. He left honorably with the rank of Sergeant E-5.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Ward and Charles “Chuck” Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeanette (Bruns) Ward; one son, Timothy Ward, of Adamsville; one daughter, Tracie (Shawn) McCormick, of Huntingdon; one brother, Dennis Hensler, of Wis.; one sister, Rhonda (Jerry) Neuberger, of Waterloo, Wis.; five grandchildren, Nicholas (Kaitlyn) Ward, of Savannah; Frankie Ward, Grant (Kirsten) McPeake, all of Huntingdon; Rusty Mullins, of McKenzie; and Jacob Ward, of Martin; five great-grandchildren, Oakley McPeake, Athena McPeake, Valerie McPeake, Kynslee Ward, and Kohen Ward; all of
whom loved and will miss him dearly.
