Harold Eugene Drinkard

1941-2020

Mr. Harold Eugene Drinkard, 78, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. 

Mr. Drinkard was born on April 11, 1941, to the late Hernando Cortez Drinkard and Araiba Dean Butler Drinkard in Como, Miss.  He was a retired welder for Consolidated Aluminum. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. at the Bruceton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Prospect Cemetery.  Bother Paul Hollingsworth will be officiating. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and also a son, Steven Dixon. 

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Sue Booten Drinkard of Buena Vista; four daughters: Judilee Fitzhugh of Portland, Ore., Kathy Hilliard of Hollow Rock, Susan green of Greenfield, Mo. and Michelle Sotak of Nashville; four sons: David Dixon of O’Fallon, Mo., Darryl Dixon of Springdale, Ark., Jeffery Dixon of Nashville and Kenneth Dixon of Bruceton; one sister: Sue Kirkwood of Madisonville, Ky.; three brothers: Ricky Drinkard of Madisonville, Ky., Merle Drinkard of Dickson and Robin Drinkard of Cedar Grove.  He also left behind 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.  Bruceton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
