Elzie M. Stanford

Elzie Mae Stanford, 94, of Troy, formerly of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, at her home. Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Hickory Flat Cemetery with Darren Martin officiating.
Mrs. Stanford was born February 7, 1926 in Cedar Grove, to the late Charlie Woodard and Lela (Blankenship) Woodard.  She was retired from H.I.S. Company as a seamstress.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Stanford; one son, Gary Stanford; one sister, Elsie Winchester Hale; and one brother, Charles Woodard, Jr.
She is survived by one son, Robert Stanford of Troy. She also leaves three grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.
