The West Carroll Board of Education is scheduled to meet Thursday night Nov. 7 in the West Carroll Junior-Senior High School cafeteria, and one of the items of business on the agenda is the renewal of Director of Schools Dexter Williams’ employment contract.
Williams’ current contract is set to expire June 30 of next year.
According to Williams, the board will vote on a proposal to renew his contract for another three years with an expiration date of June 30, 2023.
Under the proposal, Williams’ current yearly salary of $96,000 would remain the same for another three years.
A Medina resident and a West Carroll alumnus, Williams has served as school district director since June of 2017, and he was principal at the junior-senior high school for two years before that.
Thursday’s board meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. after a work session, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
