Dana Ann Saxon

Dana Ann Saxon, 49 of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 13 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Alex Gallion officiating. Burial followed in Bethlehem Cemetery in Henry.
Ms. Saxon was born January 28, 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was self- employed as a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Saxon; one sister, Dawny Gurley; and one brother, Aric “Bubba” Dotson.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Ray (Brittnay) English of North Port, Florida, and Joshua Thurston of Jackson, Georgia; her mother, Carolyn Saxon of Huntingdon; two sisters, Sharon Helms (Jeff) of Griffin, Georgia, and Tammy Dotson of Henry. She also leaves two grandchildren, Brayden English, and Annbell English; two nephews, Zachary Gurley of Jackson, and Aric Dotson, of Texas; and one niece, Tara Dotson of Paris.
Pallbearers who served were Danny English, Joshua Thurston, Rob Thurston, Zach Gurley, Jeffery Forrest, and Ronnie Bates.
