Correction on General Sessions Court

In the General Sessions Court reports in last week’s News-Leader, Kendall Renae Hicks of Lavinia was incorrectly named as having various charges dismissed against her. Actually, it was Kendall Durell Hicks who had the charges dismissed, and no case involving Kendall Renae Hicks was adjudicated by the court. This error was the result of incorrect data provided to the newspaper by the court office and was caused by the fact that the two have the same first and last names.
