Stars come out during Great Pretenders in Clarksburg
In two night’s of star-studded performances, Clarksburg High School seniors, parents, staff members, and others hit the stage for this year’s Great Pretenders extravaganza Friday and Saturday nights in the old school gymnasium.
Large crowds came out both nights, and money raised will go toward funding Project Graduation, providing post-graduation celebrations for the Senior Class of 2020.
The show featured a wide variety of rock, country, and dance numbers with performers decked out as their favorite stars.
Immediately before the intermission, local veterans, police officers, firefighters and cub scout members were honored onstage to the song, “Some Gave All.”
The entire senior class took the stage for a performance of “May We All” at the show’s conclusion.
The Great Pretenders was directed by Rick and Rebecca Morgan.
