CERTAINTY

 John’s declaration, “The man who does the will of God lives forever” (1 John 2:17), assures us that only God, who is eternal, can give us life that is eternal, that He understands everything that happens to us, is with us when we experience heartache and loss, gives us His comfort when we are grieving, and brings good out of evil as only He could do when He overcame evil and death in the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, through whom God turns our suffering and death into a victory.
