CERTAINTY

 Jesus Christ’s promise that God will give us “another Counselor to be with us forever” (John 16:16), assures us that His Holy Spirit will comfort us when we experience agonizing bereavement due to the death of loved ones, that, in His grace, He will heal our wounds and broken hearts, give us His strength and power that braces and supports us, prevents us from plunging into despair, enables us to be creative, do our work with renewed vigor and determination, and live each day in Him who blesses us.
