CERTAINTY

 God declaration that the Cross of Jesus Christ reveals both the “foolishness of those who are perishing and the power of God to those who are being saved” (Hebrews 1:18) reminds us of just how far human beings will go in rebellion against God, how far God will go to reveal His love for every person, God’s victory over sin in the Cross on which Jesus was crucified and died, and what God calls us to do when we are confronted by the Cross, when we are tested and life goes contrary to expectations.
