WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated January 10, 2019, and recorded on January 29, 2019 in the Register's Office of Carroll County, Tennessee, in Trust Deed Book 676, Page 559 ("Trust Deed"), Matthew Shane Wright conveyed to Investors Title Insurance Company, Trustee, the real estate therein described, to secure the payment of certain indebtedness therein described; and

Pursuant to Section 2.08(d) of the town’s charter, public notice is hereby given of the adoption of the following ordinances and resolutions:

Ordinance No. 656, an ordinance to amend Title 18. Water & Sewers, Chapter 2, Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems of the Huntingdon Municipal Code. as it pertains to the provision of Public Sewer Services regarding Installation, Maintenance, and Usage of Grinder Pump Systems.

Resolution No. 026-05, a resolution to call the Municipal Elections of the Town of Huntingdon, Tennessee, for November 3, 2026, in conjunction with the General Elections held by the Carroll County Election Commission, for election of three (3) Councilmembers at large for the Town of Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Resolution No. 026-06, a resolution to hire administrative services for the 2026 Local Parks & Recreation Fund Grant Project.

Copies of these documents are on file in the Office of the Town Recorder in the Huntingdon Municipal Building where they are available for public inspection during office hours.  Copies can be obtained for a nominal sum.

NOTICE OF BUDGET MEETING

TOWN OF HUNTINGDON

A Public Hearing will be held at 5:15 P.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the council room of the Huntingdon City Hall, 19810 East Main Street, Huntingdon, Tennessee.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive input for the FY-2026 (1 Jul 2025-30 Jun 2026) year-end budgets and the FY-2027 (1 Jul 2026-30 Jun 2027) proposed budgets of the Town of Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Complete information concerning these budgets is available from the Town Recorder in her office in the Huntingdon City Hall during normal office hours.  The council room is accessible to physically handicapped persons.  The mayor and council always encourage public attendance at their meetings.
