NOTICE OF SUCCESSOR TRUSTEE'S SALE

WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms and conditions of a Note dated November 13, 2020, and the Deed of Trust of even date, securing said Note recorded November 16, 2020 in Book 696, at Page 1122-1128, as Document #185335, in the Register's office for CARROLL County, Tennessee, executed by SETH GILLEY, conveying the certain property described therein to JAMES D. TRACY, STATE DIRECTOR, USDA, RURAL DEVELOPMENT, Trustee, for the benefit of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ACTING THROUGH THE RURAL HOUSING SERVICE OR SUCCESSOR AGENCY, UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, its successors and assigns and to MARINOSCI LAW GROUP, P.C., having been appointed as Successor Trustee by instrument of record March 24, 2026 in the Register's office for CARROLL County, Tennessee in Book 765, at Page 1160-1162, as Document #212998.

WHEREAS, the owner and holder of the Note has declared the entire indebtedness due and payable and demanded that the hereinafter described real property be advertised and sold in satisfaction of indebtedness and costs of foreclosure in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Note and Deed of Trust.

Coleman`s northeast corner; runs thence west for 300 feet to an iron pin and runs thence north 12 degrees 30 minutes east for 808 feet to a point in the center of black top road and runs thence south 65 degrees 45 minutes east along said road for 300 feet to a point; runs thence south 13 degrees 00 minutes west for 682 feet to the point of beginning, containing 4.98 acres.

BID NOTICE

 McKenzie Special School District is seeking bids for a Reznor Make-up Air Heater, model #RPBL500-59012, for the kitchen at McKenzie High School. The Reznor Make-up Air Heater must fit the existing curb. The bid should include: the Reznor Make-up Air Heater unit, all needed electrical connections, all needed gas connections, labor for installation, and expenses for any crane services needed to set the unit (crane services to be scheduled by the successful bidder).

Please include in the final bid package the total price for all services provided by line item.

All prospective bidders should schedule a visit to McKenzie High School to review the project and ensure the appropriate Reznor Make-up Air Heater unit is quoted, along with the needed electrical and gas connections. McKenzie Special School District is a governmental entity and in such exempt from sales tax. Appropriate documentation can be provided to the successful bidder.

NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE

TRUSTEE'S SALE OF

REAL ESTATE

WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of February, 2022, by Deed of Trust recorded in the Register's Office of Carroll County, Tennessee, at Huntingdon, in Trust Deed Book 716, Page 001, DANNY L. HALL, an unmarried individual, conveyed the following described property in trust to JACQUELINE KAY TAYLOR, Trustee, to secure the payment of a Promissory Note in the original principal sum of Thirty-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Eighteen and 96/100 ($32,718.96) Dollars in favor of BANK OF GLEASON; and

WHEREAS, BANK OF GLEASON has appointed DWAYNE D. MADDOX, III, of Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee, as Substitute Trustee, and DWAYNE D. MADDOX, III is hereby vested with all the rights, powers and privileges of the original Trustee named in said Deed of Trust.  Said Appointment of Substitute Trustee is recorded in Trust Deed Book 766, Page 595 in the Register’s Office of Carroll County, Tennessee; and

This being the same property conveyed to Danny Hall and wife, Doris Hall by Executor’s Deed from Barry Brasfield, Executor of the Estate of Daisy Brasfield dated September 24, 1986 and recorded in Deed Book 223, Page 542 in the Register’s Office of Carroll County, Tennessee. 

Doris Hall, one and the same as Doris Faye Hall, departed this life on June 28, 2009, leaving her husband, Danny Hall, as the surviving tenant by the entirety. 

Danny Hall, one and the same as Danny L. Hall and Danny Lloyd Hall, departed this life intestate on June 12, 2022, leaving his children, Amanda Seward and Daniel Hall, as his heirs at law. 

The street address of the property is believed to be 36 West End Avenue, McKenzie, Tennessee 38201, but such address is not a part of the legal description and in the event of any discrepancy, said legal description herein shall control.

This is an attempt to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.

Title to said property is believed to be good, but the undersigned will sell as Substitute Trustee only.

INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL

TOWN OF HUNTINGDON, TENNESSEE

The Town of Huntingdon seeks bids from qualified, licensed contractors for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center located at 191 Court Square, Huntingdon, TN.  The work includes but is not necessarily limited to the installation of one (1) 5 ton  heat pump rooftop unit and one (1) 3 ton heat pump rooftop unit.  The bid shall include all expenses associated with the installation of the unit required to make it operational.  All bidders must arrange a site visit prior to submitting a bid. All bids must be signed, sealed, plainly marked with the phrase "Dixie – HVAC Units", and delivered to the town recorder's office not later than 2:00 PM (CDT), April 22, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Room of the Huntingdon Municipal Building at 19810 Main Street East, Huntingdon, TN 38344.  Sealed bid envelopes shall indicate contractor’s name, license information, number and date of expiration.  Specifications and bid documents are available at Huntingdon City Hall. 

The town reserves the right to reject any proposal for cause; to reject all proposals and invite new proposals and/or to accept what is in their opinion the lowest and best proposal.  The town council is the final arbiter of all questions concerning the proposals.
