Bruceton Beer Board approves license for Old Railroad

Town of Bruceton board members, acting as the beer board, approved beer license for Old Railroad Spirits at 29795 Broad Street.

Yogeshkumar J. Patel and Jay Riya #1 have purchased the business from Betty Miller of Camden.

It was pointed out that all the legal requirements have been met. The motion to grant the license was contingent upon the contract between Miller and the two buyers being completed and the awarding of the liquor license by the state Alcohol Beverage Commission.

The motion was made by Scotty Higdon and seconded by Joey Simmons to approve with Cliff Sturdivant also voting yes. James Butler and Frank McGee voted no.
