Bobby G. Kirk

Bobby Gene Kirk, 85, of Cedar Grove, passed away Tuesday, August 25, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 29, at noon in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home of Huntingdon with Bud Ricketts and Elmer Corbin officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lavinia.

Mr. Kirk was born October 20, 1934, in Cedar Grove, to the late Robert Watkins and Vera Barr Kirk. He was a member of Liberty-Claybrook Church of God in Blue Goose and a retired carpenter for Milan Arsenal.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brooxie N. Sutton Kirk, five brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by a daughter, Gina Kirk, of Huntingdon; a son, Kevin B. (Kathy) Kirk, of Bells; a sister, Orene Coleman, of Milan; and eight grandchildren, Jay, Josh, Kody, Kory, Brad, Trina, Jeremy, and Tyler.
