The Bethel/Eastside FCE met for the first time this year in the home of Mary and Pennye Mays.  There were 12 members present with all wearing masks.  The meeting was called to order by president, Pennye Mays, who also gave the devotion, using the poem  “Everyone needs Someone”.  The club collect was read in unison.  Roll call was answered with your best childhood memory.  It was Carolyn White’s birthday.  The minutes were read from the last meeting, February of 2020, and were accepted as read. The treasuer’s report was given by Mary Mays.

Old business:  we reviewed our service projects which were: Collecting can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, saving medicine bottles without the labels for the veterinary clinic, magazines for the nursing homes minus addresses, fidget matts for Alzheimer patients, which will be done individually instead of a workshop because of COVID -19.

As new business items, everyone should bring a can of soup to each meeting to donate to Carl Perkins for the Prevention of Child Abuse and give a monetary donation to the Northwest HeadStart at McKenzie for the purpose of buying hats, gloves, and socks.

Officers were elected that will serve for the next two years. They include: president - Pennye Mays, vice president – Gail Eubanks, secretary - Lisa Williams, reporter – Danita Laman and treasurer – Mary Mays.

The meeting was then adjourned.
