Like a lot of things, Bethel University’s football homecoming, which was scheduled for Friday (Feb. 19) against the University of Pikeville, had to be put off due to the winter storms.
But the game and homecoming festivities have since been rescheduled for March 26, starting at 7 p.m.
After delaying the football season for months due to the pandemic, the Wildcats were finally set to kickoff their season with an away game against Campellsville on Feb. 12, but that game had to be postponed due to bad weather in Kentucky.
Other scheduled season games for the Wildcats include: Feb. 26 vs. Thomas More (away) at 5 p.m., March 12 vs. Cumberlands (home) at 7 p.m., March 19 vs. Georgetown (away) at 6 p.m., April 1 vs. Cumberland University (home) at 5 p.m., and April 9 vs. Lindsey Wilson (away) at 1:30 p.m.
This will be the second season for the Wildcats under the leadership of head coach Michael Jasper.
