Funeral service for J. Sam Webb, 82, of Milan, was held on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lavinia. Visitation with the family was held on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sam was born on July 18, 1937 to Jim and Nannie Roberts Webb in Westport. He was a member of the Atwood Church of Christ and he was retired from Ceco Door Products in Milan. Sam graduated from Clarksburg High School in the class of 1957.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Rushing Webb and a sister Lois Hillard. He is survived by a son Jamie Webb (Holley) of Jackson and two grandchildren: Brooke and Brady Webb both of Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested all donations be given to the Bible Department of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.
