Richard “Lindy” McGuire

Richard “Lindy” McGuire, 93, passed away at Lifecare Center of Bruceton. Private family services will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.
Mr. McGuire was a resident of Martin for 37 years where he owned a Pet milk route and the Martin Insurance Agency. Later, he worked as a salesman for Sears for 25 years. In 1990 he retired and moved to Huntingdon. He was a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia McGuire; his parents, Richard M. McGuire and Fleetie McClain McGuire of Palmersville; a brother, Charles McGuire; three sisters, Clara Cook, Chess McClain and Inez Harrison.
He is survived by three daughters, Sandy (Steve) Covington of Canton, Georgia, Sherry (Joe) Johnson of Huntingdon and Lori (David) Sloan of Lexington; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Any memorials in honor of Mr. McGuire, the family requests bequeathed to Huntingdon Church of Christ in Huntingdon.
