Photo contest raises funds for Humane Society

Thirty-six participants helped raise over $500 for the Carroll County Humane Society in the Carroll County News-Leader’s Pets of Carroll County 2021 Calendar Photo Contest.

Pet lovers submitted their photo entries via an online contest platform and the entries were voted on by the public to determine the big winners!

The contest included four categories – winter, spring, summer, and fall. The first through third place winners will be featured as the 12 feature photos on the Pets of Carroll County 2021 Calendar that will be published by the Carroll County News-Leader.

And the big winners are:

SADIE – This photo encaptioned “Santa, I’ve been a good girl!! I promise… submitted by Marian Herndon took the first-place price in the Winter category.

Winter
