Patricia Lee Hopper, 87, of Bruceton, passed away Tuesday, June 29, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with Brett Mebane officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Patricia was born on Sept. 21, 1933 in Shelby County to the Late Oliver Edward Golightly and Laurette Dufrene Golightly. She was a member of the Bruceton Church of Christ and Co-Owner of Hopper Drugs. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Lincoln Hopper; one daughter, Lisa Caron Hopper; one son, Steven Roy Hopper; and a sister, Dorothy Patterson.
She is survived by two daughters, Renee (Mitch) Sykes of Puryear, and Shelli (Ronnie) Crum of New Johnsonville; one son, Michael (Sue) Hopper of Nashville; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Sara, Ashley, Britney, Taylor, Noah, and Whitney, and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers who served were Randle Williams, Mitch Sykes, Jeff Harris, Jeff Mebane, Jameson McCoy, and Jason McCoy.
