Mrs. Mable Lavergne Williams Cole, 95, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2, at Bruceton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1924, in Hollow Rock to the late Lester M. Williams and Georgia Lee Myers Williams. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and a retired seamstress for Publix Shirt Factory.
She was preceded in death by three sons; Gene Douglas, Gary Cole, and John Cole; also by two sisters: Delma Lee Smith and Evelyn Park White. She is survived by two daughters: Carole Douglas Cox of Nashville and Ginger Cole of Enville. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Mika Douglas, Jody Douglas, Alan Douglas, Aprille cole Roberts, Zack Cole, and Brent Cole; seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
