Lexie Autry 1926 – 2020

Mr. Lexie Autry, 94 of Cedar Grove,    Tennessee passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Larry DePriest officiating.  Interment followed in Hickory Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers who served were Joel Goodrum, Jacky Maxwell, Vick Ray, Joshua Crossno, Richard Crossno, and Sam Wortham.

Mr. Autry was born February 3, 1926 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Ennis and Nettie (Horn) Autry.  He was a warehouse manager for M. Livingston, a member of Tate’s Pentecostal Church and served in the Army during World War II.  He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Dwayne Davis, two sisters, Mamie Brown, Hayru Horton, three brothers, J. C. Autry, Gilbert Autry, and Clifford Autry.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Autry, two daughters, Shirley Nichols, Sue Breeden, both of Cedar Grove, three step-sons, Keith Autry (Vicky) of Dyersburg, Donnie Smith and Terry Hunt, both of Paducah, Kentucky.  He also leaves four grandchildren, Jenny Schick, Tammy Cooper, Marty Lastinger, and Angie Shaw, eleven great-grandchildren, and eleven great great-grandchildren.
