Jimmy T. Glisson

Jimmy “Jim” T. Glisson, 75, of Huntington, IN, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation. Visitation will be held on March 13 from 10:00–12:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at First Baptist Church of Bruceton.
Mr. Jim was born on March 21, 1945, in Bruceton, to Tyler Glisson and Lucille (Lowe) Glisson. He was a 1963 Graduate of Bruceton Central High School and was married to Mary E. Shively. He worked in Insurance for 31 years and retired from Glisson Insurance Agency. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride his bike. He was a huge Tennessee Volunteers Fan and an avid Golfer
He is preceded in death by his Father, Tyler Glisson and Mother, Lucille Glisson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary E. Glisson of Huntington, IN; Four Daughters, Dana (Mark) Moore of GA, Terri (David) Traylor of Bartlett, Tammi (Pat) Bruce of Waverly, and Bridget Glisson of Nashville; a sister, Barbara (John) Parker of Bruceton; Step-Daughter, Teresa (Gene) Wright of Huntington, IN; Step-Son, Kent (Angie) Shivley of Huntington, IN; and Thirty-Two Grandchildren and Great Grand Children.
