Jerry Clayton Lowe

Jerry Clayton Lowe, 77, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday, March 19, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 20, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Phillip Halter officiating. Burial followed in the Clarksburg Cemetery.
Mr. Lowe was born July 30, 1943 in Trezevant. He retired from Milan Army Ammunition Plant, after forty-seven years, where he was a supervisor in shipping and receiving. He was a member of Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church, and served in the National Guard for many years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Lowe; two brothers, Larry Lowe, and Jimmy Dale Lowe, and son-in-law, Joe David Hamilton.
He is survived by one son, Jeff Lowe; one daughter, Sherrie Hamilton; his mother, Mary Lucille Lowe; two sisters, Janice Crocker, and Joan (Wayne) Dean, all of Huntingdon. He also leaves four grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer) Hamilton, Hunter Hamilton, Kristen Lowe, Jace Lowe; two great-grandchildren, Deacon Hamilton, and Archer Hamilton, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Pallbearers who served were Alex Hamilton, Hunter Hamilton, Jace Lowe, Brendon Evans, Cody Crocker, and Tony Crocker.  Honorary pallbearer wase Dustin Dean.
