Gina L. Johnson

Gina Louise Johnson, 60, of Bruceton, formerly of Big Sandy, passed away on Dec. 30, at her residence. A Memorial Service was held Sunday, Jan. 3 at Stockdale-Malin in Big Sandy with Nick Cobb officiating. Gina requested cremation with remains being interred at Baker’s Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
Ms. Johnson was born in Memphis, on December 10, 1960 to the late Gill and Gloria Green Johnson. She was President of U.S. Warriors Against Domestic Violence. She was a retired school teacher and truck driver. She loved camping, fishing, and her family.
Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Gayla Davis; and a nephew, Mikie Ross.
She is survived by her Husband, Tommy McSwain of Big Sandy; daughters, three Nicki Smith of Bruceton, Rachel (Ethan) Hawkins of Dayton, OH, and Erica (Brian) Ward of Alamo; four Sisters, Gwen Johnson of Yuma, Grace (Darryn) Brown of Stantonville, Gidget Willis of Big Sandy, Christi (Tim) Pugh of Cordova.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Abby E., Abby H., Nathan, Jada, Maddie, Luke, Caleb, Aiden, Zoey, Lacey, Kara, and Maya; and a host of nieces and a nephew.
