Gail Shawl Foster, 68, of Goodlettsville formally of Bruceton passed away Thursday, January 13 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 18 at Bruceton Funeral Home. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mrs. Foster was born on January 21. 1953 in Bruceton to the late James R. Shawl and Nancy Owens Shawl. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Sandra Nichols, a brother; David Shawl, and a niece; Shawn Foster.
She is survived by her spouse of 50 years; Rick Foster of Goodlettsville, two sisters; Mary Kennedy (David) and Susan Cash, nine nieces and nephews; Mary Leigh Newsom (Kevin), Tara Matlock, Robert Huntoon, Trish Scott (Robert), Ginny Fowler (Chris), David Huntoon, Nicole Clawson (Thomas), Shawn Nichols, and Shane Foster.
