Donald W. Dunlap

1948 – 2022

Donald W. Dunlap, 73 of Huntingdon passed away Sunday, January 30 at the Tennessee State Veterans’ Home in Humboldt. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 2 at the Veterans’ Cemetery Chapel with Tim Parish officiating.

Mr. Dunlap was born July 29, 1948, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Rice P. and Ruth (Belew) Dunlap.

He worked for J & J Company as an electrician, was a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ and served in the Marine Corp during Vietnam. His favorite hobbies were wood working (making wooden buckets and furniture), and wildlife photography. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters; Sarah Kay Dunlap and

Norma Gibbs.

He is survived by three sisters; Myra Sasser, Ann Wright (Leo), both of McKenzie, Sue Smith of Huntingdon, and one brother; Steve Dunlap (Mary) of Bon Aqua. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
