Denton R. Jordan, Sr. 1942-2023

Denton Reece Jordan, Sr., 80, passed away February 8, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held on Sunday, February 12 as Bruceton Funeral Home with Denton Reece Jordan, Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Crossroads Cemetery.
Denton Jordan was born on September 5, 1942, in Benton County, to the late Woodrow and Elease Cook Jordan. He was a member of Bruceton Masonic Lodge#731, AL Chymia Shrine and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Jordan was a retired computer programmer. Mr. Jordan was a kind beautiful soul who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents he was also proceeded in death a daughter Denise Renee Jordan.

He is survived by one son Denton Reece (Shannon) Jordan, Jr. of Mansfield; one brother Rickey W. Jordan of Hollow Rock; three grand children Denton (Madison) Jordan lll, Riley Jordan and Tanner Jordan; one great grandchild Reagan Jordan and two nephews David Jordan and M. Scott Jordan.

Pallbearers were Denton Jordan Jr., Denton Jordan lll, Riley Jordan, Alex Hanna, Tanner Jordan and M. Scott Jordan.
