Danny Foster

Joseph Daniel “Danny” Foster, 73 of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, October 11. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 15 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Hunter Jones officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Foster was born October 2, 1948, in Milan, to the late James Patton and Virginia Mae (Williams) Foster. He was the owner and operator of Foster Brothers Equipment Company, which he established, with his brother, David Foster, in 1971 until present, a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church and was in National Guard from 1971 until 1977. Danny’s favorite hobbies were spending time on his farm “LBR”, riding on his tractor and bush hogging, going to equipment auctions, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years; Janice Foster, one daughter; Jill Campbell (Jason) of Martin, one son; Nick Foster (Lindsey), and one brother; David Foster, both of Huntingdon. He also leaves one grandson; who he loved dearly, J. P. Foster.

Pallbearers who served were Bobby Stanfield, Billy Tucker, Chad Edwards, Luke Foster, Daniel Gant, and Larry Tippitt. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Cobb and David Townsend.
